The Light Journey COVID-19 Response

It has been a strange & unsettling time over these past few weeks. With the overwhelming response to the COVID pandemic, we are seeing and experiencing a world-wide shift on many different levels. Self care is important now, more than ever but it is also important to remember to stay calm, give yourself what you need and seek the support of your loved ones or community.

 

In order to take the proper precautions as advised by Alberta Health & Safety, The Light Journey will be suspending all in-person Reiki treatments and training until further notice. If you are in need of a session, please consider exploring Distance Reiki Healing and enjoy rest and relaxation in the comfort of privacy of your home.

 

Distance healing is very similar to other Reiki treatments, however it works in the absence of a physical being, object or place. It is often used when the client or object receiving the healing is not physically present or when touch could be harmful (for example: burns, rash, contagious etc). Despite being used in the non-physical dimension the gentle yet powerful healing works on all levels of the spirit body, including those that lie outside of space and time. It is connected with the life records of each individual and is helpful in healing karmic issues.

Tips to Help You Stay Mindful in this Time of High Stress and Uncertainty

 

♡ Journal - reflect on your emotions and write them down

 

♡ Breathe - bring awareness to your body as you slow down and lengthen each inhale & exhale

 

♡ Take a bath - create a sacred space to rest and soak away unwanted energy.

 

♡ Chat with a friend - give someone you love a call

 

💖 Create something - start or complete that craft, hobby or project you've been neglecting

 

♡ Play - have fun, smile and laugh without any end goal in mind

 

♡ Sing & Dance - move your body and sing at the top of your lungs!

 

♡ Go outside - connect with the elements of nature that are within and all around you. Breathe in the fresh air, look at the sky, listen to the birds and        soak up the sunshine!
