Mindfulness is defined as observation without judgment. This means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and surrounding environment through a gentle, nurturing lens. Often, we are not even aware that we are moving through life on autopilot; making decisions based on past experiences that are attached to our preferences, judgements and perceptions. When we move through life from that place of judgment, we reinforce our old patterns which keeps us feeling stuck and further perpetuating feelings of suffering. This is where Mindfulness comes in! Working with a Mindfulness Coach can help you to identify these areas of struggle and attachment, so you can release old patterns in order to be more present in your experiences and live from your authentic truth! Learn how to: - apply the tenets of mindfulness - identify limiting beliefs that are driving self sabotage - set and achieve goals for your interpersonal development - release old beliefs, behaviors and patterns - develop a more positive mindset - be present in your experiences The work is never done! These tools and concepts will be framed around self exploration and self evaluation for the purpose of personal healing and development. If you are committed to long term growth and change, please note that 4 to 6 coaching sessions are recommended. Shayleen conducts Mindfulness Coaching sessions via Zoom video chat. *Coaching is not a substitute for counseling or therapy. Coaching can be used to complement those modalities or to help individuals achieve their life goals, but it should not be used as a substitute to professional counseling for mental health concerns.
To cancel or reschedule your session, please contact Shayleen by phone a minimum of 2 hours before your appointment. Classes and workshops require a minimum of 72 hours notice. No shows and last minute cancellations will not be refunded.
